Privacy Policy

BeerChug does not collect any data. It has no network access, no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and no third-party code of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere, because the app cannot transmit anything.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We have no servers and no way to receive data from your device.
Information stored on your device
The app saves two things locally, using the standard iOS preferences store:
- Your best time and spill percentage for each vessel
- Which vessel you last selected
This stays on your device. It is never uploaded, and we cannot read it. Deleting the app removes it permanently.
Motion data
BeerChug reads your device's motion sensors to measure how far the phone is tilted. This is the core of the game. That data is used only while you are playing, is processed entirely on your device, and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted. iOS does not require permission for this type of motion data, so the app does not ask for any.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
There are none. BeerChug contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporting service, and no tracking of any kind. It does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not participate in App Tracking Transparency, because it has nothing to track.
Third-party services
BeerChug includes no third-party libraries, frameworks, or services. It is built entirely on Apple's own system frameworks.
Apple
If you download BeerChug from the App Store, Apple may collect information about that transaction under its own privacy policy. That relationship is between you and Apple; we receive no personal information from it. Apple's policy is at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Children
BeerChug is rated 17+ for references to alcohol and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to provide or erase. To remove everything the app has stored on your device, delete the app.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of BeerChug ever handles data differently, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
